"Hey, how much for that thingamagig...?" the rickety old fellow said.  "well, said the youger man , with hair on his chest, "Probably more than you can afford.."

The old man grumbled in his, grumbly old beard.."We spend our years as a tale that is told..." he shuffeled along only to find himself near a fountain, filled with water flowing ,and very beautiful to behold.

"Hey, how can I catch myself water to drink, for I am parched from head to toe..." A finely dressed woman, with a feather in her hat, scowled at the old man, for he was blocking her view...

"vanity of vanities...all is vanity..." said the old man under his breath and moved grumbly along...He was weary, tired and sad and found himself lost.

Darkness was setting in , panting and out of breath he sat down by a large gate.

His eyesight was failing him. He tried to focus as a tall figure moved towards him. The burdens of the day beat upon him like the hot sun. "Who goes there?" Said the old man, out of breath and out of hope.

"Hello, old man, I am the gatekeeper...I have been watching you from afar...scrumbling along...grumbling along...Would you like a drink?"

The old man squinted his eyes in suspision, but nodded yes. Then the gatekeeper pulled from his satchel, fresh fruit, and bread, and a small flask of wine. " Here. For you"

The old man ate and drank to his hearts content, and from the weariness of the day, fell fast asleep.

When he awoke, the day was new.  A noisy fly was buzzing around his head.   No one but he, sat and watched the sunrise..

It is sunny and I love this weather. I hope you are well! We had such an awesome night with the band last night. We are working on our new material and it is unexplainable...music...the way it takes you and you can make all these beautiful sounds that please the ear and body. ...it really is in it's own element.

Also, I realize, even though it is an advanced tech world of ipods, ect...cd's still hold their value. I have been told recently of several different individuals who have been playing our music regularly and have the cd's , one for the car, and one for the house stereo....It's nice to know...cd's still hold their value. Also, these people that play the music ongoing...I don't even know them...have never met them...but they have the cd, which gives them a bit of us!! I am so grateful and so pleased that people value our artistic creations, which we have made for them.:-)

Supper was fun! I made home-made tacos, where you make the shell with Duram atta flour, Indian bread, and then make a home-made guacamaolie to put in with all the wonderful fixin's. I also use greek yougurt for the sour cream. Healthy and delicious..

A time to study, and retreat...a time to grow musically. Learn new instruments, practise...

To feel satisfied that I gave my best, and nothing less. Even if it is only myself who finds pleasure in what is created. To bend my head under the yoke of discipline and recieve the gift of peace.

As  I am preparing to teach art classes again, and working on new music material, I am so happy to be  creating...the thing about creating,  is that your brain only gets more creative as you go! I have ideas always emerging as I am working on other ideas...it's like that. I highly recommend spending time being creative. It is freeing.

The music keeps coming and we have other musicians who would love to play with us, so we will see how we can incorporate them into the sound...

Just wanted to say, we are well. , and truly hope that you are too!

As I am writing you a beautiful colored wood pecker is enjoying a free meal out on the deck. Birds are beautiful. I'm painting a picture of one ..

There is much I want to create ...we have some new music waiting to record...we aren't sure if we will make cd's or just solo the songs. The nice thing about singles is that they can be up and on the site faster...which I like! I want to share it with you!!

We've got lots of ideas for the music..and I am so happy...as an artist, who is able to create...

I want to talk to you more , but have to go for now...

I am sure in all the hussle and bussle people are getting tired and loosing momentum, so it's nice to stop the world, and stare out a window, look at the snow as it gently falls. Drive slower and enjoy the winter colours ...linger for a chat with someone, ...tell them to take time for a coffee..

I wrote a new song, something in the lines of this thought, to be free , letting go of fear, fret, anxiety...such a draining line of emotions, and time wasters...

To be free.

When we get the band together after the festivities, we are working on this song . We'll put it up for you at some point in the new year.

My coffee cup let off it's mist in the cold car as the silent morning sun slowly emerged. Breathtakingly beautiful.  A moment to capture in a busy season.

So many beautiful unnoticed moments that pass through our lives..nice to stop and revel in them.

We are working on new material ,after the Christmas season. It is beautiful music. I am looking forward to sharing it with you, like these breathtaking moments that we can miss if our eyes are too distracted to see them.
