RWT: Rachel's Blog

Let me tell you, to be a musician, artist, is to be like the ocean. Never able to still oneself into calm. You cannot help but long for the music to go on. To create and visit it always. Like they say, a jealous mistress, or an untamable beast, one cannot let it go. Sometimes it is torcherous to be an artist . Needing always to create and why do we want so much to share our work with others??? It is our nature I guess, to paint the world, so to speak, with art.
Have a beautiful day.
May you live your passion,

Summer days and the livin is....

Hi!
I am sitting here on a beautiful sunny day , drinking green tea, and thinking about you. True.
The band has been everywhere but here lately. We are taking a break after working so hard to create this next beautiful CD.
So I have been gardening, weeding, cooking new foods, painting,  and getting a pottery studio made.
We know we need to update the website, soon.
Some times life's ebe and flow takes us to heights and then to quiet uneventful moments where we can think and know we are most hopeful.
With the wind chimes blowing in the wind , I wish you a wonderful day.
For this still moment....

Wow. Beautifully sunny days lately. I have a big garden growing and have been munching away!!  I work hard to have time to pull out the guitar and play...music brings me the most joy in life.
Well we just got our cd mastering back from Abbey Road. We will listen to it today and critic the sound quality.
Putting life to melody...one song at a time!!
I hope your part of the world is well and that I can sing to you a song of love.
For now..
Rachel.........for the band

Our friend Phil is an avid soccer fan. He coaches with another fellow, who is older and in his 60's. The other fellow is from London like Phil...
The other fellow was in Liverpool playing soccer when three young,  gents came walking across the field. They asked if they could play a bit ...they did and wern't very good at it... Good thing they went into music, after all, as the three fellows,  were Paul, John and George....
True ...:-)
Well best be getting on with this day!!!!!!
Making melodies...

Wow. I had an interview done the other day. I thought it would all be good, talking about the music, how it is being used in the world...how we love to make it....ect... and when I read the article it was about me....personal things that I didn't remember telling him.....I was stunned. I didn't expect it. I was hurt, felt vulnerable...
I really didn't expect that...
I guess it's a good lesson to learn, and not to take oneself too seriously as weather in a day easily changes.....It's the music that lives on!! Heh.
It is a beautiful sunny day today and I am going to enjoy the weather!!!!
Hope you are having a good day and if not remember the weather changes...
Rachel
